What would a "Deluxe" bus look like if VW had really made it deluxe? If the engineers were concerned with luxury and power more than economics, what would they have done differently? I think I may have some answers. While trying to remain true to the spirit of what Volkswagen intended in overall style, I have tried to restore a bus with a bigger sense of "Deluxe." Hippies may have driven this bus in the 60's, but they wouldn't go near it today!

Look carefully and you'll notice touches of aluminum and chrome from earlier buses. Seats that are comfortable and durable. Paint that competes with show cars. Interior that feels plush. Imagine pushing the gas and instantly accelerating! It may look like a vintage VW - but it sure doesn't drive or behave like one!
